Nigel Marsh
Chief Executive
Nigel Marsh joined Medacs Healthcare in July 2003 as Managing Director,becoming
Chief Executive Officer of the Medacs Healthcare Group in October 2007.
He has 22 years experience within the healthcare market both in the UK and overseas.
Nigel joined Medacs Healthcare from AXA PPP Healthcare where he held a number of roles across the Group,
culminating in the position of Strategy and Business Development Director.
During this time Nigel was involved in the acquisition of a number of new businesses and the introduction
of new products and worked extensively with other AXA healthcare businesses based overseas.
Prior to this, Nigel worked for an insurance company based in Australia and is a qualified accountant.
Andy Moss
Chief Finance Officer
Andy Moss, who joined Medacs Healthcare in December 2011, has more than twenty years’ senior level experience in general and financial management. Immediately before joining the Group, Andy ran his own company, offering financial consultancy to a broad range of clients. Previously he was Chief Finance Officer at Expotel, where he managed a team of 60 people supporting a wide range of government clients, and was responsible for streamlining back office process and systems to achieve significant efficiencies.
During his five years at Cable and Wireless, Andy was part of the team that launched the LAN Services Division. He subsequently became Managing Director of the UK wide business that provided IT managed services to a broad range of government clients, Andy has also been Director of Finance for a large Plc and Group Financial Controller of two FTSE 100 businesses.
Claire Evans
HR Director
Claire joined Medacs Healthcare in April 2003 as HR Business Partner, becoming HR Director in October 2007. Claire has 16 years HR experience both in the UK and overseas.
Prior to joining Medacs Healthcare, Claire was a Call Centre Manager in the travel industry having gained experience in sales management and call centres in her role as Telesales Manager for Prudential Direct. Whilst living in Australia, Claire worked for GE Capital Fleet Services as their National Client Services Manager and for National Mutual (now part of AXA) in Customer Service management roles. She gained her initial experience in HR whilst working for National Mutual in New Zealand.
Trish Davidson
Head of Nursing and Social Care
Trish Davidson joined Medacs Healthcare in October 2005. She has 8 years healthcare
recruitment experience. Trish joined Medacs Healthcare from what was formally Corinth
Healthcare and prior to that was responsible for setting up a small healthcare recruitment
company in Cheshire.

Mick Witley
Managing Director (International)
Mick Whitley joined Medacs Healthcare in October 2011 to spearhead the company’s expansion into new international territories. With four years’ experience as Managing Director at HCL International, and four years at Bluecare before that, Mick has an excellent track record of developing healthcare recruitment brands internationally.
After training as a nurse in Australia, Mick worked in a variety of clinical specialities before relocating to the UK and working in the NHS for two years. Starting his career in recruitment in domiciliary care in 1997, Mick has fourteen years health and social care sector experience across all health and social care professions. This has included managing master vendor contracts, bank contracts and International recruitment programmes for the NHS and Private sector. Mick has implemented contracts for some of the UK’s largest NHS Trusts, and has been responsible for teams recruiting thousands of healthcare professionals into the UK, Middle East, Asia, Australasia and North America.
Brian Hill
Managing Director (Australasia)
Brian Hill joined the company when his own Australia and South Africa-based medical recruitment company, Allied Health Employment, was acquired by Medacs Healthcare in February 2010. Brian has more than ten years’ medical recruitment experience across Australia, South Africa, the Middle East and Gulf states, and an in-depth knowledge of the UK and USA markets.
Brian has tertiary qualifications in healthcare from the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney in Australia, and has worked at management level within the public healthcare system in Australia.
Peter Golightly
Chief Information Officer
Peter Golightly joined Medacs Healthcare in November 2011 as Chief Information Officer. He has more than 30 years’ experience in IT and Telecoms gained in consultancy, media and banking, and is responsible for the IT strategy for the group, ensuring the integrity and reliability of all Medacs Healthcare’s IT systems.
Prior to joining Medacs Healthcare, Peter was Head of Technology at Northern Rock Bank. He has held senior management positions in BT, EMAP, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Daily Mail Group World Media where he was CIO. Peter brings a wealth of experience in implementing major IT programmes and managing IT service in the UK and around the world. A Chartered Electrical Engineer Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Peter has an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Northumbria University.
Trevor Lambert
Marketing Director
Trevor Lambert is Marketing Director of Medacs Healthcare Group. He joined the company in November 2010 and is based in our London office.
Trevor has twenty years of experience in designing and implementing business-to-business and public sector marketing communications strategies, building and repositioning brands in professional services, local government and education.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer for more than ten years, Trevor gained his first degree in Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and his MA in Marketing from Thames Valley University in London.
