We all know that what we do to the environment now will have a profound effect on the quality of life of future generations.

Medacs Healthcare are one of the leading supplier of Locum Doctors in the UK. We are playing our part by putting our own environmental policies in place and thereby helping our clients achieve their environmental goals.

We recognise that putting our own house in order is essential if we are to make a difference to our clients. We believe that the recruitment industry at large is already environmentally friendly. That said, reducing our environmental impact is a key part of our corporate responsibility strategy and the subject of a significant, company-wide investment in time and resources. We are certain it is a good investment.

These are some of the environmental initiatives that we have undertaken with some still a ‘work-in-progress’:

• Internal Communication - We are currently undertaking a company wide ‘green audit’ and communication campaign focused on reducing waste, saving energy and raising awareness of the environmental issues facing the industry.
• e-Bulk CRB - We have recently made a significant investment in a CRB – E-bulk system (See CRB E-Bulk Article)
• Online Timesheets & E-invoicing - We are currently undertaking projects which include facilitating timesheets and invoicing online, significantly reducing the amount of paper printed and making the process easier for clients.
