Consultant Anaesthetist
We are currently looking for Consultant Anaesthetists to work in the Manchester area:
Requirements:
- Relevant experience
- Full and Specialist GMC registration
Main responsibilities:
- Providing sedation and anaesthesia to patients undergoing endoscopy and providing pre-assessments to patients that require such procedures
- Preparing preoperative assessments including health histories and physical examinations
- Developing an Anaesthesia Care Plan
- Maintaining appropriate patient records, including quality assurance documentation
- Providing training to staff at the unit and ensuring skills and competencies are maintained at a high standard
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialities and participating in regular clinical meetings
- Demonstrating a firm involvement in clinical governance, risk management and clinical audit
- Sharing responsibility for data protection arising out of the use of computers
