- Any formal qualification proofs such as Nursery or Social Care NVQs
- Mandatory Training Certificates which include the following (Medacs Healthcare can provide training if yours is out of date):
- Health & Safety
- Moving and Handling
- First Aid
- Proof of GSCC registration
- Proof of Social Work qualification

As a social care worker it is essential that you hold the following training certificates before you work for us:
- Moving and Handling (including health and safety)
- First Aid
- Food Hygiene (necessary for certain clients)
If you are unable to show evidence of completing this training in the last 12 months (3 years for Food Hygiene), you will need to complete it through a Medacs Healthcare refresher course.
Medacs Healthcare is dedicated to providing you with accessible continued development and will offer you refresher training every 12 months.
We do not currently charge for refresher training. However, some branches may ask for a small deposit which will only be refunded if you attend.
