If you see a job on the Medacs Social Work website that you are interested in, please notify your Consultant immediately. At this point you will discuss the position in more detail (such as Job role, Pay,Travel and Expenses).

In most instances, your Consultant will phone you to advise you that they have a role that you may be interested in, and will keep you up to date on roles they are working on, on your behalf.

Your Consultant will send your CV to the team in question and this will determine if the team invite you to interview. Some posts will require one or two interviews and some posts will not require an interview at all – it really is all down to the team.

We will go through all your work options at interview so that we gain a clear idea of your skills and what types of roles we can offer you.
As a locum worker, it is important that you keep your consultant up to date with your requirements and availability and give us honest feedback about the roles we are offering you.

We try to give you as much notice as possible but in rare circumstances cancellations may occur. In instances such as this we will endeavour to offer you alternative work and do our best to ensure you do not lose out. Medacs Social Work will ensure that each incident is thoroughly investigated as to why the candidate has been cancelled.
