Our client is a leading medical complex in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It consists of sophisticated medical cities that are scattered in many regions of Saudi Arabia. It consists of almost all medical specialities and sub-specialities, including state of art cardiac surgery, oncology, dental, OBGYN and other medical and non medical support services and technology. They are a pioneer medical institute focusing on providing medical care and providing an appropriate academic education and training to all medical and non-medical staff.
 
Saudi Arabia is a large desert country which reaches from the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf and borders seven other Middle Eastern countries. It is named after the royal family that currently raines over the kingdom and has thirteen provinces. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a population of 27.6 million (the capital is Riyadh) and all its citizens practice the Muslim religion by law. The climate here is hot and humid and that is due to most of Saudi Arabia being desert which is uninhabited. The average temperature is 42 degrees Celsius, but usually exceeds 50 degrees. Coastal locations are cooler as the temperature here does not usually exceed 35 degrees. During winter the temperature does not get above 7 degrees and occasionally a sprinkling of snow may occur in the Southern Mountains.
 
There are plenty of things to do in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia like going on a desert excursion, visit the sand dunes, scuba dive in the Red Sea, visit the amusement parks, go horse riding and camel riding.
They are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to work in there ICU Trauma / Surgical department. You basic function will be to work within the mission, vision and values of the hospital and the division of nursing services, assumes 24 hour accountability for overall unit management and for the delivery of quality nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your principal duties will cover clinical practice, administration, education and research, quality and professionalism.  
  
  
Requirements:  
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from a Western University  
  • You must hold a current licence within your country of current registration  
  • Minimum of 3 years current clinical experience working in ICU Trauma / Surgical plus 2 years working in a comparable management position  
  • Must hold a current BLS or ACLS  
  • English must be your first language  
  • Ability to speak Arabic is an advantage  
  • You will need to be proficient in using computer systems  
  
   
You must hold a New Zealand, Australian or UK passport to be eligible for this role.
