Working in Canada

Canada is very diverse in its population, landscape, climate, and its way of life. Canada is regularly amongst the top three places in the world to live and earned particularly high marks for its access to education, high life expectancy (due to universal health care system) and low crime and violence rates. It has also been recognised to have world-class cities where you can live and work, and also for cleanliness, safety, cultural activities and attractive lifestyles.

Canada boasts an excellent healthcare system. Every province in Canada has their own Health Authority with their own selection criteria. Nurses initially practice on a Temporary Practice Permit while you study for your CRNE (Canadian Registered Nurse Exam) and once you have passed you will be a Registered Nurse in that Province. To work in Canada as a Physician you may be required to sit the Medical College Admission Test.
