This booklet is intended to help you through your first few days as a Medacs Healthcare Locum and to act as a reference throughout our relationship.

Medacs Healthcare was established in 1992 and is the market leader in the supply of Locum Doctors in the UK, fulfilling thousands of Locum requirements in the majority of NHS Trusts. At Medacs Healthcare, we believe in delivering a first class service to you always, which is why we are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Once you have fully registered with Medacs Healthcare, you will be transferred to a dedicated Placement Officer who will contact you on a regular basis, offering you support throughout your placements. We recommend that you make regular contact with your Placement Officer throughout, so that they are kept informed of your ongoing progress and availabilty.

Our dedicated teams are divided geographically, with specialist knowledge of their particular area and a comprehensive knowledge of all other areas. We believe that this specialist approach gives our candidates the best possible support and is one of the reasons why we are the market leader.

Our clients often provide Locum requirements outside of office hours and frequently you will want to speak to Medacs Healthcare at times convenient to you, therefore we provide a 24 hour operation, ensuring that you can speak to a member of staff, who will be fully conversant with your details, at any time of the day.
