Band: 6 and 7

Location: West Middlesex Hospital, Twickenham, TW7 6AF (nearest train stop Syon Lane or easy bus route from Richmond/Twickenham)

Contract Type: Locum

Salary: £22 - £29 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and energetic individual to work within the Medical Rehabilitation team at the West Middlesex Hospital
The role will work between the general medicine, care of the elderly, frailty and neurological and orthopaedic outliers.
The role will require strong occupational therapy skills across a broad range of specialities, inclusive of care of the elderly, orthopaedics, medical and neurology.
The role will require strong discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and a sound clinical understanding of falls, cognitive impairment and common pathology as related to frailty syndrome. The role would suit an OT with interest and experience within these areas.
Essential criteria:
  • HCPC registration
  • NHS acute experiencing
  • Discharge planning
  • Experience in: acute medicine, care of the elderly, orthopaedics and neurology
