Support Workers required for adolescent residential homes
An exciting new opportunity has come up for Children Residential Support Workers to work ongoing temporary shifts in residential care homes in Hertford, Watford and Letchworth.
The role is supporting children aged 11-18 with disabilities - learning and physical, challenging behaviour communication disorders and autism, based within a residential setting. The right candidate will need to offer nurturing and therapeutic care to children living in the homes who have suffered traumatic life experiences. Due to this, a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar setting is required.
Shift times would include a mixture of early, late or long days. If you are interested in developing your skills as a Support Worker, want to work in a fulfilling and rewarding role where you can make a difference to children's lives, this is the opportunity for you.
A minimum of 6 months recent relevant UK experience within a similar setting is required. Candidates will be required to drive the homes cars and take young people out in the community and work independently, so drivers are essential.
