Medacs Healthcare are looking to recruit care assistants to support our service users in their homes at weekends. It is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to work within your local community. We are currently looking for drivers with access to their own vehicles.

Role: Home Care Assistant - Weekends

Location: Barnsley

Branch: Leeds

Pay rates:

£10.50 Monday - Friday

£11.00 Weekends

Mileage 35p per mile

Paid travel time

Weekends covering the following hours:

• 7am - 2pm
• 3pm - 10pm

Duties of a Care Assistant:

• Domestic assistance
• Personal care (assisting with washing and dressing, to aiding with toileting)
• Medication support (support and training will be provided)

• Meal preparation/support
• Promoting dignity and respect, as well as independence and encourage service users well-being
• Emotional and social support
