Summary overview of the complex care needs for the three vulnerable minors (one nurse per patient)
The patients are in urgent need of specialised nursing care, and we are seeking qualified professionals to support in the care of these patients.

1. JP (Trachy Care):
o Ventilator: Astra 150 ventilator.
o Suction: Via LSU; Trachy suction, not oral.
o Feeding: Gastro fed with GJ tube; meds and feeds through jej ports.
o Personal care and bathing.
o Mobility: Mobile with wheelchair for outings.
o Communication: Non-verbal; regular nebulizers; airogen nebulizer linked to ventilator.
o Sensory Oriented: Responds well to sensory stimuli like noise-making toys, bubbles, and iPad interaction.
o Support: Challenging Family involvement; AMG sometimes present through social care.
o Unique Flutter Breathing: Nurse must be prepared to call 999 if breathing slows.
o Gender Preference: Male or female nurse.

2. TT (Seizure Management):
o Seizure Management: Experience in managing seizures is essential.
o Foster Care: Placed in foster care; foster mother is an ex-ITU nurse.
o Feeding: Gastro fed; may be c-papped; ketogenic diet to manage seizures.
o Communication: Non-verbal; partially sighted; responds to lights, music, and verbal interaction.
o Mobility: Non-mobile; requires sling and hoist for positioning.
o Family Involvement: Supportive and actively involved in care.
o Gender Preference: Male or female nurse.

3. ALH (Trachy Ventilated with Spinal Injury):
o Ventilation: Stellar ventilator for trachy ventilation.
o Suction: Via LSU; trachy suction.
o Feeding: Peg fed; frego food pump overnight.
o Communication: Non-verbal; requires positioning for effective communication.
o Mobility: Non-mobile; requires care for spinal injury.
o Emotional Needs: Enjoys sensory activities like bubbles, watching TV, and tactile interactions.
o Family Dynamics: Challenging family environment.
o Gender Preference: Female nurse.

All three minors have canine companions present in the household.

In addition, please note the following key points discussed during the meeting:

* Three-month period.
* Intensive care background preferred
* Rates are negotiable for depending on candidates.
* Familiarity with PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) or Ocean Ward will have knowledge of JP and TT.
* Possibility of training in tracheostomy care for nurses with significant shifts via MPFT.
* A list of Thornbury nurses will be shared.
* The team will share the care plans for discussion with the candidates.
