CAMHS Practitioners Band 6 Full Time Mon - Fri for 12 weeks initially - Telford/Shropshire area
The Mental Health Support Team based in Langley, Telford and Severn Fields, Shrewsbury need 5 Practitioners- Education Mental Health Practitioners ideally but they are few in number as it's a very specific and new qualification route, JD attached. The team work with schools and offer low intensity, brief interventions (CBT), assessments, advice and guidance and whole school activities.
Practitioners of interest: EMHP/PWP/CWP/CBT therapists/Systemic therapists/Primary Mental Health Workers/RMNs with community CAMHS and early intervention experience.
The role is very much hybrid with ideally as much to be delivered face to face in the different schools the team support in the localities, Telford & Shropshire. They have a waiting list to work through, so remote working may be an option for discreet activities to help manage the current referrals we hold.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
As a member of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST), working closely with colleagues to support the development and delivery of support, intervention groups for CYP. Drawing on own experiences to support the team in developing and promoting Children and Young People's (CYP) engagement and support within the service.
