Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine

Medacs Healthcare is looking for a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine to join a busy, university Hospital in Wales.

Salary scale: £45,124 to £77,519 for 10 PA's plus extra 2-3 PA's, plus Relocation package

Contract type: Fixed term for 12 months or 24 months

The successful applicant would be expected to be the Senior doctor on-site after-hours dealing with acutely unwell patients, be able to supervise and support junior staff, and help coordinate the flow of patients in the ED (with the support of the on-call ED Consultant)

This post is suitable for those who would like to develop their careers either as a Non-Consultant Career Grade or who wish to consolidate their experience before moving on to other senior roles.

Requirements:

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
• Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills
• ATLS

4 years full-time postgraduate training (or part-time equivalent), at least 2 of which in an Emergency Medicine training programme

• Or as fixed term specialty trainee in a relelvant specialty
• OR MBBS or recognised equivalent and MCEM or equivalent
• Broad based experience in Emergency Medicine
