Locum Consultant Cardiologist (fixed term NHS contract)

Medacs Healthcare is looking for a Locum Consultant Cardiologist to join a large NHS Teaching hospital based in Yorkshire.

Salary scale: £79,957 to £103,806 per annum depending on experience - 10 PA's

Hours: Whole time, Part time or Job Share up to 12 PAs

It is a full-time post - 12 month fixed term contract in the first instance.

Participation on GIM on call rota is essential (1:16 weekday & 1:8 weekends), the Trust is working towards a standalone Cardiology rota.

The post is offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over five days and is currently working toward the implementation of a cardiology on call service in 2022 which will then provide 24/7 cover. We are open to discuss any specific or specialised job plans that candidates may desire, including flexible/less than full time working. Requirements:

• GMC registered
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Cardiology via: CCT, CESR or European Community Rights (within 6 months of completing a training programme recognised for the award of CCT or equivalent)
• Ability to demonstrate clinical experience and skill required for gaining UK CCT in Cardiology +/- General Medicine
• Minimum 6 months UK experience.
• Current ALS certificate
