Medacs Homecare is currently recruiting for Care Manager based from the Leeds office. As a Care Manager you will be responsible for managing the provision of care within a branch in line with regulatory and legislative requirements by providing a variety of reports and schedules, doing regular audits, providing administrative support, and doing telephone quality checks.

Here's some of the key responsibilities:

  • Providing reports, schedules and monitoring service level agreements and reviewing performance
  • Undertaking regular audits
  • Completing Telephone Quality Checks with service users
  • Reporting completed and outstanding actions from quality plans to Registered Manager on a weekly basis
  • Preparing reports to present to Head of Operations and Business Support Managers
  • Preparing weekly work schedule for Field Care Supervisors
  • Reviewing and ensuring that the Extended Hours Care Coordinators have updated the rostering system
  • Remain up to date on results of Inspections and Branch actions plans
  • Conducting timely appraisals, for all Care Coordinators and 1:2:1 meeting on a regular basis
  • Supporting branch to undertake and conduct complaints and safeguarding investigations, compile supporting evidence and deliver outcome letters for employee cases and note take at hearings/meetings
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all external customers, LA/CCG Private Clients
  • Supporting branch with emergency Out of Hours service as and when required
  • Leading, coaching and managing employees to ensure growth and service targets are consistently met
  • Liaising with Branch Trainer in booking training courses and assisting in identifying additional or specialist training requirements
