Medacs is currently recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor for the Bristol area.

You will be ensuring that Medacs Healthcare delivers a high-quality standard of care to all Service Users. A key purpose of the role is to monitor and supervise the quality of care within a defined geographical area or service line and to ensure that care provision is of a high quality, contractually compliant and meets reasonable customer needs.

In addition, the role necessitates the day to day supervision of Care Workers that are competent and appropriately skilled to undertake relevant tasks and duties.

This position also requires an ongoing focus on customer satisfaction and the consistent monitoring of care provision against customer need and where necessary the activation of any remedial steps to ensure that care services meet customer requirements.

Here's some of the key responsibilities:

  • Supervising Care Workers for their Care Certificate sign off and identifying Care Workers who require training
  • Monitoring visits and direct observation checks on care workers and service users in the field
  • Identify, encourage and support personal and professional development of all care workers whilst in the field
  • Complete assessments and liaise with the Manager to enable sign off the completion of Care Certificates
  • Contact service users/clients via a monitoring telephone call on a quarterly basis
  • Carry out Risk Assessments and Care Support documents for all new care packages and process necessary documents
  • Full compliance for current and new contracts is adhered to
  • Attending review meetings
  • Running reports weekly to confirm compliance of Service Users and Care Workers
  • Ensuring safe delivery of service by assisting with the covering of care visits as and when the business requires
  • Work with the Care Coordinators to ensure Care Workers receive supervisions/appraisals and update records
  • High service user satisfaction reported in annual survey and Service User Feedback

ABOUT YOU

An organised NVQ 3 or 4 qualified individual with excellent coaching and development skills, you will be able to prioritise workloads and have a good working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (regulated activities) Regulation 2014.
