Senior Manager - Laboratory Quality & Safety - Abu Dhabi.

Our client has one of the largest CAP-accredited (College of American Pathologists) laboratory networks in the Middle East, which includes three owned laboratories and manages the laboratories of several large private hospitals in the United Arab Emirates.

Job description:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Manager plans and directs the Quality Management System programs and practices of the company to ensure patient safety and compliance with local and international standards. The Senior Manager will apply quality and performance improvement approaches to identify and quantify improvement opportunities, facilitate and organise process improvement efforts and measure outcomes; Lead regulatory agency accreditation preparedness, audit and analyse laboratory processes and systems; Analyse data, formulate recommendations and create written and verbal reports; Develop and present quality and accreditation training programs for laboratory colleagues; Prepare regular reports and presentations to and for the management; Supervises quality caregivers and is a resource for quality direction, regulatory interpretation and problem resolution for all company's laboratories.

Suitable candidate must meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology.

- Master's degree in the relevant field.

- Certification as a Certified Manager by the CMQ/OE, ASCP or CPHQ.

- Appropriate clinical internship in Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Science.

- Minimum of five years of managerial experience.

- Clinical experience in a laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

This is a permanent, full-time position with 48 working hours per week.

Salary will be based on qualification, certifications, experience, and outcome of interview.
