Medacs Academy UK Terms and Conditions: The “Programme” is Medacs Academy. The organiser of this programme (the “Programme Maker”) is Medacs Healthcare of 800 The Boulevard, Capability Green, Luton, LU1 3BA. The “Candidate” is a GMC-registered doctor and goods and services of the Programme are referred to as “Goods and Services”. The recipient of Goods and Services of the Programme is the “Member” and inclusion in the Programme by a Member is called “Membership”. The Candidate will qualify for Membership and therefore be offered Goods and Services, should each of the following conditions be met: The Candidate must; be registered with the GMC; be eligible to work in the UK; be registered with the Programme Maker as an 'active' locum which means that the Member is either in the process of registering, fully registered and booked for work or working as a locum; enrol onto the Programme by completing the enrolment form on www.medacs.com/academy-uk; available to work on the Programme Maker’s candidate database. By enrolling onto the Programme the Member is deemed to accept these terms and conditions. Programme Membership is not a guarantee of Goods and Services. The Programme is not open to employees and past employees of the Programme Maker, nor their families. The Programme Maker reserves the right to change, add or delete Goods and Services or close the Programme at any time, without notice or liability. The Member is responsible for satisfying itself as to the suitability of the Goods and Services. The Member agrees that the Programme Maker shall incur no liability of any kind and makes/offers no representation, warranty or guarantee in relation to the Goods and Services. Some Goods and Services may be provided by third parties (“Third Party Goods and Services”) and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
From September 2018, Academy members who have been sent confirmation of a reserved place for any CPD training coursewill be subject to the following cancellation policy:
Members who cancel with less than 72 hours notice, or do not attend and give no notice, will not be invited to attend future training events and may be charged a cancellation fee of £50.
The cancellation fee will be charged at the discretion of the Programme Maker.
