Medacs Healthcare has recently announced its latest round of CPD training courses. The Locum Best Practice CPD Learning Series is an extensive range of free interactive courses and follows our extremely successful 2017 series.
Designed to address the specific learning needs of doctors working as locums, the Locum Best Practice CPD Learning Series gives advice on achieving good medical practice, reflective practice, raising concerns, accountability and partnership working. It’s available to members of the Medacs Academy, a free membership programme offering training and other benefits to support locum doctors in achieving revalidation and helping their ongoing professional development.
Developed and delivered by the General Medical Council’s Regional Liaison Service, who work with NHS Trusts to help doctors to embed the GMC’s professional standards, the Locum Best Practice CPD Learning Series is independently accredited by the CPD Certification Service.
Rebecca Learoyd, Head of Doctors at Medacs Healthcare, commented:
“We have received great feedback on the courses we have provided and are committed to supporting and developing further courses that continue to benefit both our NHS clients and locum doctors? In fact, we are currently looking at how the Academy can benefit an even wider remit of doctors so…watch this space!”
The course comprises four interactive training sessions: Good Medical Practice, Professional Patient Partnerships, Personal Beliefs and Confidentiality, and Leadership and Management. The series begins in London on Thursday 26th April with Good Medical Practice.
