We are pleased to announce the continuation of our work with Cavell Nurses’ Trust, a UK charity supporting nursing professionals suffering personal or financial hardship.
The organisation offers comprehensive support to both working and retired nurses, midwives and healthcare professionals. From money to repair a broken cooker or boiler to vital life-changing support like helping a family flee home due to domestic abuse, the charity is on hand to provide essential aid to those in need.
With thousands of nursing professionals turning to Cavell Nurses' Trust every year, we are proud to be working with such a worthy cause, a sentiment that is echoed throughout the business.
Trish Davidson, Operations Director of Specialist Staffing at Medacs Healthcare, believes the support being provided by Cavell Nurses’ Trust is a major positive for the nursing professionals of the Medacs Healthcare family.
“As one of the UK’s leading nursing agencies, we care passionately about nurses. Working with Cavell Nurses’ Trust provides us with the opportunity to give something back to all those nurses in need.
“In working with Cavell Nurses' Trust, we are standing alongside a charity that allows us to offer help and support to our highly valued nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants during times of personal or financial crisis.”
We have been working with Cavell Nurses' Trust since 2019. During this time, members of our dedicated Nursing team have bravely scaled the heights of Mount Snowdon in aid of the charity’s annual, month-long fundraiser, the #10KForNurses challenge. The event raised over £30,000 to help nursing professionals across the UK.
Cavell Nurses' Trust also regularly celebrates the brilliance of UK nurses. Cavell Star Awards, an inspiring national awards programme, recognises nursing professionals who excel in their line of work and show exceptional care to either their colleagues, patients or patients' families.
