To work as a healthcare professional in the UK through Medacs Healthcare, you must have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide evidence of this in accordance with UK immigration legislation.

You will also need the appropriate professional registration for your role, such as:

General Medical Council (GMC) registration for doctors
Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration for nurses and midwives
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for allied health professionals

For most locum doctor, agency nurse and allied health professional opportunities, candidates will need a minimum of six months' recent NHS experience, the relevant professional registration and the legal right to work in the UK.
