Job Title: Physiotherapist - CMATS Spinal Locum

Location: Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl, Denbighshire, LL18 5UJ

Band: Band 7

Contract Type: Locum

Salary: £23 - £29 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Clinical Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Service (CMATS), focusing on spinal conditions. This is a locum position for a Band 7 clinician who will manage highly complex patients presenting with both acute and routine spinal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with complex spinal conditions.
• Provide expert clinical input within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support service delivery and maintain high standards of care.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with:

• Physiotherapy degree (or equivalent qualification).
• HCPC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Minimum of 6 months UK NHS healthcare settings experience.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Full UK right to work.

Key Requirements:

• Strong MSK experience, particularly with complex spinal cases.
• Proven background in CMATS, Primary Care, or First Contact Practitioner roles.
• Completed NMR training (essential) - enabling referral for X-rays and MRI scans.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality patient care.
