Registration & Compliance

Yes, but only if it holds your current address.

Yes, but you must forward your new certificate as soon as you receive it.

 

No, only documents that have expired need to be resubmitted. Our Compliance Team can help you update your records.

Ideally to work as a locum AHP in the UK you must have at least six months of UK work experience or have worked in Australia or New Zealand.

Yes, absolutely you can.
  • Proof of identification (e.g. Passport or EU ID Card)
  • UK visa (for non-EU citizens)
  • DBS & police check (Medacs will carry out an enhanced check)
  • Overseas police check (if you’ve lived outside the UK for 12+ months)
  • Certificates of qualifications
  • CV
  • 10 years’ working history (with three years’ work references)
  • Mandatory training certificates (Medacs provides online training)

 

Yes, but NHS Framework requires verified copies of all qualifications. Speak to your recruitment consultant for guidance.

Pay & Timesheets

You can choose your hours. Full-time is typically 37.5 hours per week, but ad hoc, day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.

Notify your recruitment consultant about roles you’re interested in. They’ll discuss the details and submit your application.

Yes, but please commit to the first job that comes back as confirmed.

You’ll be notified verbally and in writing with all the details.

You’ll receive weekly payments from Medacs Healthcare. If paid directly by a client, this may differ.

Yes, we can create a self-bill invoice on behalf of your limited company.
