Announcement: New SBS Framework Now Live
Medacs is proud to be named as a supplier on the new NHS Shared Business Services' Insourcing of Clinical Services framework agreement. Ref: 10203
Officially live as of 3 July 2023 and open to all NHS organisations, this framework agreement supports the use of insourcing support services across the NHS, enabling trusts to secure extra clinical capacity and help meet increasing demand.
Insourcing is defined by the framework as the employment of a third-party organisation to perform medical services/procedures on trust premises. It differs to locum and agency staffing supply with the full end to end service being provided, not just staff.
This is great news for NHS procurement teams as it enables rapid access to our new insourcing model, without the need for a formal tendering process. As a supplier on this framework, Medacs has already undergone a rigorous tender process, meeting price and quality benchmarks.
NHS organisations will be able to use it to access insourcing support services for the next five years, until 2 July 2027.
