Job Title: Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse
Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £27.81 - £38.03 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
As an experienced PICU Nurse, you will be required to provide excellent care:
- Continuous Monitoring: They closely monitor patients' vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Medication Administration: Administering medications accurately and safely, often handling potent drugs that require precise dosing based on a child's age and weight
- Medical Procedures: Assisting physicians in performing various medical procedures, such as inserting intravenous lines, chest tube placements, and urinary catheterizations
- Managing Life-Support Equipment: Operating and monitoring advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors
- Family Support: Providing emotional support and clear communication to patients' families, helping them understand their child's condition and involving them in the care process
- Collaborating with the Healthcare Team: Working closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Emergency Response: Responding rapidly to emergencies, delivering immediate interventions to stabilize patients during critical situations
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with NMC qualification.
- UK Right to work.
- 6 months' recent paediatric nursing experience in the UK (within the last 3 years).
- Enhanced DBS clearance required.
