About the Role

As a locum Consultant in General Medicine, you'll deliver high-quality care to patients across a range of acute and general medical settings.

Consultant to cover winter pressure ward (General medicine ) this will be opening at county site in Stafford on Monday 27th October, this will be a long term post until the 31st march 2026.

This will be working on the ward 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday.

NHS experience preferred and also have worked in the UK for the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Managing inpatient and outpatient general medicine services
• Supporting junior doctors and MDTs
• Contributing to service development and audits
• Providing high-quality patient care

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• CCT in General Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving it)
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in General Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving it)
