Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the dedicated healthcare team at HMP Stoke Heath on a 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a secure environment, providing essential mental health care to a vulnerable population.

🔍 Key Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration

• Prison clearance is essential

• Full UK driving licence required

• Previous experience in a prison or secure setting is highly desirable

• Strong communication and risk assessment skills

🏥 Role Overview:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health care to inmates, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. This role requires resilience, compassion, and a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals in custody.
