About you:

Are you an experienced Consultant Psychologist looking for a new challenge in CAMHS? Look no further! Our client in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychologist to provide medical psychiatric assessment and intervention to patients in the EWMH Care Group.

The Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health (EWMH) Care Group aim to "provide an integrated children and young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health service with single point of access and no wrong door approach".

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist (Band 8c) with:

  • Evidence of effective team and multidisciplinary working
  • Effective and demonstrable communication skills
    Strong consultation skills
  • Possess an extensive range of clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills
    Knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding, along with knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Capacity Act
  • AC status
