Global Medics is seeking two General Surgery Registrars to join a leading hospital in north-eastern New South Wales.

The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility, opened in 2024. With 430 beds, 12 operating theatres, and advanced diagnostic and interventional services it offers a modern, high-volume environment for surgical practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care across specialties including ICU, cancer care, cardiology, maternity, paediatrics, and mental health, supported by cutting-edge technology and an academic health alliance for research and training.

Role Overview

As a Registrar in General Surgery, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality surgical care in a busy regional hospital setting. This position offers exposure to a diverse caseload of elective and emergency general surgery, supported by senior consultants and a multidisciplinary team.

These are fixed term positions for a duration of 12 months.

Requirements:

  • current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
