Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - Sydney

Global Medics is seeking a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for a permanent position at a large public hospital based in Sydney area.

The hospital is a major teaching hospital located in the heart of Western Sydney, and serves a highly diverse, multicultural population with a broad and complex clinical caseload, offering Obs & Gynae Consultants a rewarding and varied scope of practice.

The O&G Department is busy Level S maternity unit currently providing service for close to 4200 deliveries per year. The outpatient Maternity and acute Birthing service are supported by a gynaecological service with several weekly clinics and daily operating lists. It's a RANZCOG accredited training site.

Successful applicants will have knowledge and expertise in the management of high risk and complex pregnancies, above the level of the Generalist O&G specialist. Have obstetric ultrasound skills above the level of Generalist O&G specialist. Have demonstrated commitment to provision of high-quality pregnancy care for women with a background of disadvantage and deprivation.

Requirements:

• Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the RANZCOG or equivalent
• Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner
• Demonstrated commitment to Education, Training and Research
