Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire are looking for a diligent, knowledgeable agency HCP with recent NHS experience to come and join their team of health care professionals and specialists.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Band 3 HCA with BSW you will:

  • Personal Care: Assisting patients with washing, showering, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Clinical Support: Monitoring and recording vital signs (pulse, respiration, temperature, blood pressure).
  • Patient Comfort:

Making beds, keeping rooms tidy, and assisting with mobility.

  • Nutrition: Serving meals and feeding patients who need assistance.
  • Clinical Tasks: Taking blood samples, processing samples, and sterilizing equipment.
  • GP Practice Specifics: Assisting with minor operations, administering vaccinations (e.g., flu), and performing health checks.

Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications

  • Hours: Generally 37.5 hours per week, often involving shift work (nights, weekends, early mornings).
  • Qualifications: No formal qualifications are strictly required for entry-level roles, though English and Maths at GCSE C/4 or equivalent are often preferred.
  • Training: On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to complete NVQs, QCFs, or Apprenticeships
