This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a well-established, tertiary-level paediatric respiratory and cystic fibrosis service, combining specialist care, regional leadership, and the chance to shape future service development in a highly supportive academic environment.

About the Role
You'll join a high-performing Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis team delivering tertiary services across Norfolk and Suffolk, with close collaboration across the East of England.

The role combines specialist paediatric respiratory medicine, cystic fibrosis care, and (by agreement) general paediatric responsibilities, offering flexibility to tailor the job plan around your interests and experience.
NNUH is a recognised regional CF centre, with strong research links and established transition pathways to adult services.

Key Clinical Responsibilities
Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

• Consultant-led inpatient and outpatient care for children with respiratory disease
• Regular respiratory clinics (including MDT and under-5 clinics)
• Inpatient respiratory consultations and twice-weekly ward rounds
• Leadership in sleep-disordered breathing services, including home sleep studies
• Participation in regional difficult asthma MDTs
• Close collaboration with neonatal, surgical, neurodisability, and community services

What We're Looking For
Essential

• MBBS (or equivalent)
• MRCPCH or equivalent
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT/CESR)
• Demonstrable experience in paediatric respiratory medicine
• Strong multidisciplinary and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)

Desirable

• Completion of Paediatric Respiratory GRID / SPIN training
• Experience in cystic fibrosis care
• Interest in sleep medicine, difficult asthma, or service development
• Higher degree (MD / MSc / PhD) or research involvement
