Job Title: Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology
Location: Falkirk
Rate: £100- £120 + negotiable + dependant on experience
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP

Sample job plan:

0830 - 0900 AAU / ED pickups
0900 - 0930 ward B32 MDT : day planning with the team
0930 - 1230 ward round
1230 - 1430 Patient referrals outwith ward B32
1430 - 1500 ward B32 MDT : recap on progress
1500 - 1700 further patient review as necessary / admin

NB 1230 - 1700 each day subject to cover for emergency endoscopy as needed. There is an emergency endoscopy list each morning 0900-1230 serviced by substantive staff and OOH cover after 1700 overnight

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work

Desirable:

• CCT in Gastroenterology
