You'll manage your own caseload, contribute to effective risk management and support recovery, independence and wellbeing through person‑centred care. This role suits a confident mental health professional who enjoys working autonomously and engaging people with complex needs.

You bring strong assessment and formulation skills, emotional resilience and a genuine commitment to helping adults improve their quality of life.

  • Manage a varied caseload, completing specialist assessments, care planning and ongoing reviews
  • Deliver brief, evidence‑based interventions, including psychologically informed and/or pharmacological approaches
  • Complete and review risk assessments, promoting safe and positive risk‑taking
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation, outcome measures and reports
  • Work collaboratively within MDTs across primary care, social care, police, voluntary and specialist services
  • Provide supervision, guidance and learning support to junior staff and students
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit and health promotion activity
  • Communicate sensitively with service users, carers and partner organisations

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Registered RMN / Occupational Therapist / Social Worker (NMC / HCPC / SWE)
  • Post‑registration experience working with adults with mental health needs
  • Strong assessment, formulation and risk management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
  • Experience in community mental health settings
  • Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills

  • Training in psychological therapies (CBT, DBT, EMDR, Family Interventions)
  • Coaching or clinical supervision training
  • Non‑medical prescribing
