Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Location: West Middlesex Hospital, Twickenham, TW7 6AF

Contract Type: Locum

About You:

We are seeking an experienced and energetic individual to work within the Medical Rehabilitation services at West Middlesex Hospital. The role will work between the gastroenterology, endocrine, elderly care, and frailty wards.

The role will require strong discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and manage complex rehab of patients transferred from the major trauma units.

There will be an expectation to work flexibly between different areas .The role would suit an OT with interest and experience within these areas or at least acute medicine.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking an Occupational Therapist with:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • Acute Healthcare inpatient experience
  • Medicine/ Elderly Care/Frailty /Neuro/neurorehab
  • Experience of acute care plus Discharge planning
