Job Title: Senior Community Mental Health Nurse

Salary: £19.52 -£21.88

Shifts: 09.00-17.00
Job Summary
This role involves supporting the referrals management process and providing more intensive input to our service users and carers who have complex needs in the community, with an expectation that you will be able to effectively manage a complex caseload. You must have previous experience and knowledge of working with those living with a dementia.
The service can be very fast paced and therefore the ability to work efficiently under pressure and respond to high service demand is essential. Additionally, the post holder will need to be confident to work autonomously and organise their time effectively.
You will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team, you will also have determination and drive committed to working holistically to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia, their family and carers and demonstrate a range of therapeutic interventions.
You will have experience in a supervisory role and be able to make a positive contribution to the development of the service. You will be encouraged to have access to regular supervision and to maintain your professional development. A good positive attitude towards this specialised client group needs to be demonstrated and the aptitude to contribute to the continual development of the service incorporating evidence-based practice.
This role is community base and there is an expectation that you will provide Senior Nursing direction to junior staff and students across the service as necessary. It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and the use of a car.
