Job Title: Locum Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Location: LEEDS
Rate: £100- £115 + negotiable
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP

The role involves providing senior medical support to a city-wide Early Intervention in Psychosis service in Leeds. This role covers the age range 18-65 who are thought to be experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

This includes:
* Working flexibly alongside an MDT comprising of clinical leads , care coordinators, therapists, recovery practitioners and physical health practitioners
* Input into MDT meetings where new referrals are discussed and any clinical concerns raised.
* Accompanying care coordinators to see new assessments, follow ups and urgent reviews (including MHA assessments) .
The current medical resource is 0.6 full time Consultant, 1.0 Speciality Doctor ,1.0 Higher trainee and 1.4 Core trainee.
There is dedicated admin support


S12 and AC Approval Required.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work

• CCT/AC, S12
