What Does A Disability Assessor Do?

Conduct functional assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applicants, either face-to-face or virtually.

Review medical records and conduct assessments to understand each individual’s health conditions and daily living needs.

Prepare clear, impartial reports that help inform benefit decisions, meeting Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) standards.

We welcome applications from NMC-registered Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD), or District Nurses (SPQDN) with at least one year of UK clinical experience and the right to work in the UK.
