Job SummaryThe Accuracy Checking Technician will work as required by the Dispensary Manager, Pharmacy Manager and Responsible Pharmacist in the day to day running of the pharmacy dispensary counters, ensuring that all work is processed efficiently and in the correct order according to schedules.To maintain Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician status and perform the final accuracy check of prescriptions dispensed by other pharmacy staff under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist.Supervise other staff, ensuring that policies and procedures are strictly adhered to, and dealing with any deviation appropriately. To label and dispense medications when required by the Pharmacy Manager, Dispensary Manager or Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all procedures, ready to receive a final accuracy check by a pharmacist or another Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician to meet business needs Oversee the rotation and maintenance of all medicine stocks and sundry items, to ensure value for money and reduced wastage.Will be based in Sutton Clinical trials pharmacy, ideally working 4-5 days a week. Must be ACPT accredited in order to check trials prescription, this role will mainly include checking and dispensing.
