10 session (full time) Heavy focus on trauma on-call due to significant gaps we have on the on-call rota currently that are impacting heavily. Other activity will likely include fracture and elective clinics, trauma ward round ect "
Job Summary
We're recruiting a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant to support a well‑established service, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care across trauma, elective surgery and outpatient pathways. This role suits a locum consultant with at least six months recent NHS experience who can adapt quickly to NHS clinical systems, pathways and multidisciplinary working.
You'll manage a varied caseload and contribute to subspecialty services such as lower limb, upper limb or foot and ankle surgery, complementing existing teams and supporting wider service development within a collaborative clinical environment.

You're a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant who enjoys working in a busy, fast‑paced setting and is committed to delivering safe, compassionate care. You communicate confidently, work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and bring sound clinical judgement to both trauma and elective cases.
