The post is as a Consultant Psychiatrist for Adults within the Community Learning Disability Services. The post requires providing input to the Community Learning Disability Team serving the borough of Rugby. The main role of the post holder is to provide diagnosis and treatment of individuals that have an Intellectual disability, who are adults and display additional behaviours as a result of mental illness, autism or other associated physical and mental disorders.

What We're Looking For
Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility)
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• Experience in adult mental health settings
• UK Right to Work
• A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach

Desirable:

• CCT in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry
