Theatre Nurse for Bristol

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining strict sterile fields and accurate safety counts.

• Monitor patient vital signs, support anaesthesia, and manage post-operative recovery.

• Conduct WHO safety checklists and adhere to clinical governance.

• Support efficient theatre list management and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

• Active NMC Adult Nurse Registration.

• Perioperative experience or relevant clinical background.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

• Role Summary: Deliver safe, patient-centred care across perioperative pathways (Scrub, Anaesthetic, or Recovery) within UHBW operating theatres.
