Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Nurse Assessor - Band 6 (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
Location: Cheshire and Merseyside
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Rate/Salary: Hourly
Client: Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB)
Essential: Current NMC registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD, the Right to Work in the UK, and experience in Continuing Healthcare (CHC), community nursing, complex care, mental health, learning disabilities or clinical case management.
Job Summary
We're currently supporting Cheshire and Merseyside ICB in recruiting experienced CHC Nurse Assessors to join its Individual Assessment and Commissioning Team. This role would suit nurses with a background in Continuing Healthcare (CHC), community nursing, mental health, learning disabilities, complex care or clinical case management.
You'll assess care needs, manage a caseload and work with NHS services, local authorities and care providers to help individuals access the right care and support. Hybrid working with approximately one office day per week in Merseyside and full-time Monday to Friday hours make this an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to use their clinical expertise in a more autonomous role.
Who We're Looking For
You're an experienced nurse who enjoys assessment-based work, managing a caseload and working collaboratively with others to support positive outcomes. You'll be confident making informed clinical decisions and communicating with healthcare professionals, service users and families.
