Job Title: Locum Consultant in Microbiology

Location: CHICHESTER

Rate: £100 - £115

Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)

Start Date: ASAP // SEPTEMBER

On site 9-5 Mon- Fri. On call on site Saturday 9-15:00, rest of the on call is off site. Duties of a Consultant Microbiologist: authorisation of results, phone advice, daily ITU/bacteraemia/complex infection ward round, laboratory support, MDT attendance as & when required.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in Microbiology
