Locum Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry - UK-Wide Opportunities | Medacs Healthcare

Job Title: Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS)
Location: Barking
Rate: £90 - £105 per hour
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP

Experience of assessing and treating children and young people with eating disorder. Clinical assessment and treatment of children and young people referred to the NELFT all age community eating disorders service. You will be part of an established and expert multidisciplinary team with a full time CAMHS consultant psychiatrist and an adult psychiatrist who deals with adult patients. Documentation on the electronic patient record, prescribing, management of physical health correspondence with GPs, paediatricians and relevant services, liaison with inpatient services where appropriate and safeguarding responsibilities shared with the mdt are included. Four days per week, between Monday to Friday 9-5.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• Experience working in CAMHS or paediatric mental health settings
• UK Right to Work
• CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
