Phlebotomist/HCA - Scotland - Our Future Health

Banding: Band 2 & 3
Location: Scotland region

Medacs Healthcare are looking for experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join our team in Scotland, with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am - 7:30pm).

Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will:

• Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
• Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
• Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Certificate in Phlebotomy.
• A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood.
• Experience taking patient observations.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Essential:

• Be aged 25 or over.
• Hold a full manual driving licence with a clean driving record.
• The ability to pass an enhanced background check - PVG
