Rate: £60 - £130ph. PAYE only
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP, ongoing. Section 12 essential. AC approval is essential for Consultant grade. Monday - Friday 0900-1700. Job plan negotiable with suitable candidates.

About the Role

As a locum Speciality Doctor / Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:

• Conducting psychiatric assessments and reviews
• Leading treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Supporting junior medical staff and MDTs
• Liaising with community services and external partners

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• NHS experience in adult mental health settings
• UK Right to Work
• A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach
• Section 12
• AC approval (if consultant level)
